An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Associate to join a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice in Edinburgh. This role would suit an ambitious individual currently studying ACCA (or equivalent) who is looking to continue developing their career within a collaborative and supportive professional environment.

As part of a friendly and forward‑thinking team, you will support a varied client portfolio across accounts preparation, bookkeeping and cloud‑based accounting services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure within a modern practice environment that embraces digital accounting solutions.

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Production of management accounts
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Bookkeeping and financial processing duties
• Working with cloud accounting software including Xero
• Supporting a varied portfolio of SME clients
• Building strong working relationships internally and externally
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Currently studying ACCA or equivalent
• Experience using Xero and cloud‑based accounting software
• Strong communication and organisational skills
