We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh, who are seeking a talented and ambitious Audit Senior to join their thriving and well-regarded team, with a firm that offers flexible working, a company pension, and much more!

As Audit Senior, you will take a leading role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services across a broad and interesting portfolio of clients, managing assignments from planning through to completion whilst actively supporting and developing junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio
  • Preparing and reviewing audit files, ensuring work meets the highest technical standards
  • Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team on assignments
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
  • Communicating audit findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners
  • Keeping up to date with developments in UK auditing standards and financial reporting
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background
  • At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior team members effectively
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident client-facing manner

    Well organised with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously
