Experis Cross Border is currently supporting an American multinational healthcare company in their search for a Accounts Receivable & Collection Specialist
The initial contract will be a maternity cover for 9 months and with possibility of being extended to 12 months, to be based on site in Edinburgh
This role will involve engaging with customers, as and when required, to address instances where payments provided do not have sufficient information to support quick and easy allocation of receipts
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end credit control process, including UK NHS accounts receivable processes and collections activity
- Monitor customer accounts and proactively address any potential credit risks or payment issues (including outbound calls to customers, sending payment reminders, negotiating debt repayment plans etc.).
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on aging analysis, and collection activities.
- Analyze customer payment patterns and develop strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow
- Previous experience working in an Accounts Receivable and/ or Collection role
- Proficient working in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills
