Management Accountant

Robert Half is delighted to shortlist candidates for a new Management Accountant to join a growing and diverse business with interests across property, investment and commercial operations. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will take ownership of management accounting, financial reporting and financial control across a varied portfolio of entities. This role offers exposure to a broad range of activities, including management reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, business partnering and process improvement, within a complex multi-entity environment.

The business is based in an attractive city centre location with hybrid working on offer.

The successful candidate will also support and mentor an Assistant Accountant while contributing to ongoing improvements in systems, controls and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting analysis for a portfolio of entities.
• Manage monthend processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and support the work of the Assistant Accountant, providing guidance and development where required.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor funding requirements across multiple entities.
