Audit Manager

• Take ownership of audit projects from planning to completion
• Act as primary contact for clients during engagements, handling queries and maintaining clear communication
• Supervise junior team members, review their work, and provide feedback
• Prepare budgets, monitor progress, and address variances
• Take responsibility for billing activities
• Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards
• Perform administrative and ad-hoc tasks to facilitate efficient project flow
• Travel to client sites, including locations within the Scottish Borders

• Qualified Accountant - ICAS, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent to handle complex audit assignments
• Ability to manage multiple assignments at once and meet client deadlines
• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior colleagues
• Familiarity with risk assessments and effective control measures within the audit process
• Up-to-date technical knowledge and relevant accounting and auditing standards

Demonstrates expertise in audit project management, ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards while effectively mentoring junior team members. Proven ability to manage client relationships and oversee project budgets and timelines.
