Audit Senior
£36,000 to £44,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time
Edinburgh
A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Edinburgh is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior to lead assignments from planning through to completion across a varied and technically interesting client portfolio.
The client base spans a range of sectors and business sizes, and the firm has a strong reputation in the Scottish market with a supported route to Assistant Manager. Crowe Watson Recruitment knows the Scottish accountancy market well, and Edinburgh particularly so.
What's the day to day of the role:
- Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a varied portfolio
- Preparing and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard
- Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
- Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners
Required skills and qualifications:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background
- At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment
- Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff
