Office Manager (Temporary – Potential to Go Permanent) £26,000 – £30,000 | Edinburgh-based | Occasional travel to Glasgow
Monday to Friday | On-site

Hoop Professional Services is recruiting on behalf of a leading, forward-thinking organisation looking for a proactive Office Manager to support their Edinburgh office. This is a temporary role with potential to go permanent, giving the right candidate the chance to make an impact from day one. Initially, travel to Glasgow will be approximately once a quarter.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the main on-site contact for the Edinburgh office

Deliver front-of-house reception services, including meet & greet, calls, and visitor management

Support new starters with equipment setup and office inductions

Manage meeting rooms, events, catering, and IT requests

Coordinate suppliers, contractors, cleaning, and FM providers

Maintain office supplies, stationery, and kitchen equipment

Support Health & Safety compliance, including audits, inspections, and fire procedures

Maintain accurate records, logs, and spreadsheets

Take ownership of the office presentation and visual standards

Undertake ad hoc administrative and facilities tasks

 About You
Experienced in office management, facilities, or workplace support

Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Highly organised, able to multitask and problem-solve

Professional, approachable, and service-focused

Comfortable liaising with internal teams, visitors, and suppliers

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum

Location:

Edinburgh, with occasional travel to Glasgow (approx. once a quarter)

Contract:

Temporary, with strong potential to go permanent
