National & International Partnerships Administrator
Full Time, Fixed Term until July 2027.
Salary: £30,496–32,743 per annum.
Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
Location:
National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street – Hybrid.

An experienced Administrator is needed to support the busy National and International Partnerships Department. You will bring strong organisational, interpersonal, and IT skills to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the department.
Responsibilities- Act as the main first point of contact, processing internal and external enquiries and requests, and managing the shared inbox.
- Support the Head of National & International Partnerships by managing diaries, arranging meetings and visits, handling correspondence, compiling meeting papers, and organising paperwork and filing.
- Provide general administrative support: coordinate diaries, set up meetings, arrange external visits, support training programmes and events, manage travel arrangements, and gather and collate departmental information for management or reporting.
- Liaise with Finance and Human Resources on the recording and processing of financial and personnel transactions (e.g. financial requisitions, travel and credit card claims, attendance records).
- Excellent ICT skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook) and database use.
- Experience with online event and communication software such as Eventbrite and Survey Monkey.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- Proven experience in a busy administration environment.
