Receptionist/Administration Assistant

Anchor Mill Medical Practice is a large, busy and friendly training Practice in Paisley. We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our team.

Hours
: 36 hours per week over 5 days, 8:30‑18:00 Monday to Friday. Scope for negotiation; also open to two part‑time roles making up 36 hours.

Salary
: £26,658 – £28,947 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities
:

• Deal with patients at reception and over the telephone
• Process prescriptions and mail
• Book and cancel appointments
• Signpost patients to appropriate services
• Phoning hospitals and other services
• Perform other administrative duties as required

Requirements
:

• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Previous experience in a patient or customer–facing role
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in busy, unpredictable situations while upholding patient confidentiality
• Desirable: experience in a GP or healthcare setting and familiarity with GP computer systems (Vision and Docman)
• Full training will be provided to the right candidate
