Strong organisational and PC skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective working relationships across the branch and help ensure a high level of client satisfaction from start to finish.
Duties & Responsibilities To ensure that small works are organised, managed and delivered successfully within client-agreed timelines in conjunction with the Service Co-ordinator Ensure correct skill sets are advised to the Service Co-ordinator for completion of all works Ensure all jobs passed for scheduling are ready to schedule (i.e all equipment/materials have been received, any 3rd party services have been organised etc) To work to processes and procedures as specified/agreed per company workflows alongside the Service Co-ordinator Provide technical support back-up for both Engineering and Office teams Act as key point of contact for engineering workforce and subcontractors on technical issues as and when required To work with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure communication between the service team and engineering team flows, and correct information on works is communicated and discussed where appropriate Ensure company H&S policies are always adhered to by the engineering team, and failures are actioned within an appropriate time frame Create/review initial job RAMS, review Dynamic RAMS and any customer H&S documentation when required Carry out site surveys and site audits Occasionally assist the engineering team on-site or attend emergency call-outs Create/review/edit client Excel Spreadsheets, Word Documents, Power Points and PDFs Create/review/edit PA Excel Spreadsheets, Word Documents, PowerPoint presentations and PDF reports before sending to the client to ensure they are presented in a professional manner Ensure maximum utilisation and management of the engineering team during their working day, week and month To review the training needs and requirements of the engineering team in conjunction with the Service Co-ordinator & Workshop Supervisor, ensuring all technicians are qualified to the appropriate standards.
Updates should be passed to the QHSE Manager for skills matrix update review Ensure all engineers have the appropriate level of disclosure check and security clearance for clients sites Requirements Qualified to HNC level or a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role Excellent communication skills Good numeracy skills Good written skills Confident using various Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
