Blue Energy is a platform technology that makes use of the latest NRC-approved reactors and is in negotiations with existing nuclear and industrial sites, enabling a much faster regulatory pathway to deploy our first unit.

Position Summary

The Operations Coordinator supports the daily running of Blue Energy’s operations, providing essential administrative, logistical, and process support across teams and projects. This role ensures smooth coordination between the UK, US, and global offices - keeping systems, documentation, and communications organized and up to date. Working closely with the UK Office Manager and executive team, the Operations Coordinator helps maintain operational excellence through structured processes, and proactive problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities

Office Management:

  • Support the daily running of the operations, maintaining supplies, coordinating vendors, and ensuring smooth facilities operations.

  • Manage administrative processes including purchase requests, expense tracking, and office inventory.

  • Assist with health & safety and facilities compliance, ensuring records and actions are maintained.

  • Coordinate travel bookings, meeting logistics, and event arrangements for staff and visitors.

  • Maintain accurate operational records such as supplier lists, asset registers, and internal trackers.

  • Provide administrative support for internal systems, licences, and subscriptions management.

Executive Support:

  • Provide scheduling and logistical assistance to executive leadership and senior management when required.

  • Support travel coordination, itineraries, and meeting preparation for visiting executives and leadership events.

  • Prepare and format correspondence, reports, and presentation materials.

  • Assist with diary management, meeting minutes, and action tracking.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Project & Tracking Support:

  • Support project teams by maintaining trackers, timelines, and documentation in Share Point

  • Monitor progress on key operational or cross-functional initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders updated.

  • Help prepare internal reports, dashboards, and progress summaries for leadership review.

  • Coordinate input from multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.

Documentation & Process Management:

  • Maintain controlled documentation and templates in SharePoint, ensuring version control and proper access management.

  • Support the implementation and updating of internal policies, processes, and registers.

  • Ensure consistent file organisation and naming conventions across shared systems.

  • Assist with preparing documentation for licensing, compliance, and operational audits.

  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency across office
