About the Role
Haverhill Family Practice are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Care Navigator/Receptionist to join their team on a part-time basis for 24.5 hours per week, to work the following:
- Monday 8.00am-6.30pm
- Tuesday 8.00am-6.30pm
- Wednesday 8.00am-1.30pm
Duties will include:
- Welcoming patients via telephone or face to face.
- Answering incoming calls in a prompt, friendly efficient manner.
- Booking of appointments.
- Arranging home visit requests.
- Signposting patients to the correct clinician
- Receiving and processing daily E-consults from patients
- Handing repeat prescription/med3 requests
- Registering new patients
- Liaising with members of practice team
- Managing out-going correspondence
- Updating patient demographics
- General administration duties
- Daily auctioning of tasks

About the CandidateTo be considered for this position, you will have the following:
- Flexibility to cover staff leave and absences
- Excellent telephone manner
- Good communication skills
- Experience of working within a similar enviroment
- Strong IT skills
- Confident dealing with members of the public
