Position: Client Insight Manager (fixed term)
Location: City of Edinburgh

Role

Summary:

Lead the strategy, design and delivery of customer and adviser insights to progammes to inform and drive business strategy, proposition development, regulatory compliance and operational improvements.
This role ensures a robust, comprehensive understanding of customer behaviours, needs, and outcomes within a regulated savings & investments environment, enabling the organisation to deliver better customer and adviser experiences and better customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver short- and long-term projects focused on improving customer experience and adviser experiences.
  • Managing ad-hoc research projects to objectives, generating actionable insights and presenting findings to senior stakeholders to influence business decisions.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting, communications, and recommendations that are easy for stakeholders to digest and take action.
  • Inspire business change by bringing customer stories and insights to life through well-crafted debriefs and deep dives. Influence stakeholders to take action through well-written findings and recommendations
  • Manage third party research suppliers in order to optimise the value derived from these partnerships, building a complete knowledge of customers and advisers from these complimentary sources
  • Manage and embed continuous performance monitoring studies to understand if the right outcomes and experiences are being delivered to customers and clients across the M&G Life business
  • Generate actionable insights through bringing together information and data from different sources both (internal and external sources) and presenting it in a way that that is easy to understand
  • Deliver robust governance and controls in relation to the development and maintenance of research, insight and analytics capabilities
  • Leverage AI to automate, streamline and elevate insight reporting
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong data and analytical skills, with proficiency in setting up and reporting using analytical tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in customer experience analysis, research methodologies (expertise in qualitative and qualitative), and stakeholder management
  • Research project management experience and external agency handling
  • Experience using AI to optimise and accelerate delivery of research insights, enhancing the quality and impact of customer and client analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex insights clearly and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and passion for understanding customer needs and driving change through evidence-based insights.
  • Financial industry, products and regulatory environment experience
