Opportunity

We’re looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Motor Team at Tesco Insurance and Money Services.

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of commercial activity for our motor product, providing insight, analysis and operational support to help deliver our business plan. You’ll work closely with colleagues across IMS, contributing to performance reporting, change activity, customer communications and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, supporting projects, improving processes and collaborating with stakeholders to drive better outcomes for customers and the business.

The Role
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
    Collate and analyse data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Contribute to reviewing existing operations in own area of work and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
  • Forum governance and action tracking: you will be responsible to ensure that actions are correctly assigned & tracked as we look to manage the wider IMS teams.
  • Commercial Management:
    Prepare analysis and reports on commercial trends and results. Help managers make effective decisions based on the data.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities to improve our commercial performance & develop the commercial trade roadmap
We need you to have
  • Strong communication and relationship‑management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality outputs.
  • Proven commercial awareness, able to support business cases, evaluate proposals and contribute to decision‑making.
  • Experience working in a commercially focused role, ideally supporting campaigns, propositions or product development.
  • Ability to prepare performance and trade reports using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, supporting decision‑making and the commercial trade roadmap.
  • Ability to interpret performance data, identify trends and turn insight into practical recommendations.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks or stakeholders at the same time.
  • Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear, concise presentations.
  • A proactive mindset; comfort taking ownership, spotting opportunities and driving things forward.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment, responding quickly and calmly to emerging priorities.
  • Sound judgement, knowing when to progress independently and when to elevate or seek input.
  • A willingness to contribute ideas, challenge constructively and support continuous improvement.
