Workingwithorganisationsincluding Defra,APHA,theFood Standards Agencyandleadingfoodproducersandretailers ,weplayavital roleinprotectingfoodsafety,animalwelfareandpublichealth.

Asour Health&Safety Manager,you'llberesponsiblefordeveloping,implementingandcontinuouslyimprovingourhealthandsafety managementsystemsacrossmultiplesites.

• Leading investigationsintoincidentsandimplementingpreventativeactions.
• MonitoringlegislativechangesandensuringongoingcompliancewithUKHSErequirements.
• ManaginghealthandsafetyaspectsofourvehiclefleetandPPEprogramme.
• Workingcloselywithoperationalmanagerstoembedapositivesafetyculturethroughouttheorganisation.

We'relookingforsomeonewhoenjoystakingownership,canworkindependentlyandhastheconfidencetoinfluencestakeholdersatall levels.

• ArecognisedNEBOSHqualification(or equivalent).
• Experiencemanaginghealthandsafetyacrossmultiplesitesorfield-based operations.
• StrongknowledgeofUKhealthandsafetylegislationandISO
  45001.
• AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelnationally.
• Abackgroundinmanufacturingwouldbehighlyadvantageous,particularlywithinthefoodormeatprocessingindustry,althoughthisisn'tessential.
