Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice

Goonvean Fibres is one of Europe’s largest technical fibre manufacturers, supplying high-quality precision cut fibres and flocks to customers in more than 50 countries worldwide. We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Imports & Exports team as a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a global manufacturing business while working towards a recognised qualification.

Our products are supplied into a variety of industries including automotive, construction, cosmetics, filtration, paints and coatings, battery technology and oil and gas. Operating from our headquarters in Cullompton, we support customers across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America through an extensive global distribution network.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for import and export orders.
  • Assist with shipping documents including invoices, packing lists and delivery instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation complies with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Track shipments and assist with resolving delays or issues.
  • Update and maintain departmental systems and databases.
  • Respond to customer and supplier enquiries professionally.
  • Support reporting and departmental performance analysis.
  • Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning and email management.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
