ASA Recruitment’s client, a Higher Education Institution in Edinburgh is currently looking to recruit 5x Business Analysts on 12 month fixed term contracts on a salary of £46,000/annum. These roles are based in Edinburgh with hybrid working.
Responsibilities:- To deliver business analysis activity aligned to the capability framework, approved project plans and deliverables, ensuring outputs are to the required standard and quality.
- To support the development of the required analysis approach and activity within a strategic programme in alignment with: approved frameworks and tools, each of its lifecycle stages of identify, initiate, plan, execute, deliver and close, and in consideration of the constraints of time and cost as defined as part of programme & project initiation.
- Identify and build relationships with leaders, managers and staff who are stakeholders regarding the change ensuring appropriate representation from across the organisation contribute to and has appropriate visibility of relevant analysis activities.
- Plan and organise assigned business analysis deliverables and contribute to the regular, standardised and accurate programme and project reporting in relation to this analysis activity. Monitor and report on the contribution of targeted groups in relation to the input to analysis activity and endorsement out appropriate outputs.
- As a member of the business analysis capability, support the Head of Business Analysis and associated community of practice in the continuous improvement of the Business Analysis Framework including supporting the development of guidance materials.
- Significant evidenced practical experience of successful business analysis delivery within a project utilising a robust approach.
- Experience of process redesign aligned to enabling organisation design and technology.
- Higher Education or Public Sector experience.
- The ability to work with limited supervision, accurately and consistently to required standards.
- Ability to collate information and data, preparing documentation and presenting it to stakeholders.
