EY Parthenon’s Infrastructure Advisory practice advises public and private sector clients on transactions and broader financial, strategic, and commercial advice mainly related to infrastructure projects and programmes. We support government and private sector clients to tackle some of the UK's most pressing public policy and investment challenges, helping them improve financial resilience, unlock investment, deliver regeneration and infrastructure programmes, support devolution and local government reform, and drive long-term economic growth through effective place-based strategies.

We are seeking a senior advisor who can help local authorities, combined authorities and wider public sector organisations navigate financial, economic and investment challenges through a blend of strategic, commercial and financial advisory expertise.

We are focused on growing our practice as we respond to the UK’s infrastructure agenda and the particular strategic drivers in the local and regional government sector. We are looking for a motivated and passionate Assistant Director in our London or regional offices;
Manchester, Bristol or Scotland.

• Working in small and dynamic teams to provide expert financial, commercial and strategic advice to clients, both on transactions and more broadly on policy projects
• Delivering and managing complex projects and programmes of work
• Building and working with financial models, including establishing appropriate data structures and undertaking sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Creating business cases involving strategic, economic, financial and commercial evaluation
• Supporting clients to undertake steps to achieve better organisational or service specific financial sustainability
• Presenting impactful reports to senior client stakeholders to facilitate effective decision making
• Driving key business development activities, including EY’s wider growth strategies
• Leading and taking ownership of origination and sales
• Contributing to sector thought leadership and helping shape EY's perspective on policy and market developments.
• Building senior client relationships across local authorities, combined authorities, government departments and wider ecosystem partners.
• Supporting the development and coaching of junior team members.
