Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly respected financial services organisation in Edinburgh to recruit an experienced Change Manager.

Reporting into senior leadership, the Change Manager will be responsible for establishing and enhancing change management methodologies, governance standards, and reporting capabilities to provide clear oversight of change activity across the business.

Working closely with programme management functions, senior stakeholders, departments, suppliers, and external partners, you will ensure change initiatives are prioritised, effectively governed, and delivered in a controlled and consistent manner.

You will also take ownership of key strategic projects, driving best practice in project and change management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, promote, manage, and continuously enhance the organisation's change management framework, methodologies, standards, and governance processes.
  • Establish a consistent approach to project delivery, change control, risk management, and benefits realisation.
  • Partner with programme management colleagues to implement effective change governance and reporting processes.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Lead key strategic and operational projects from initiation through to implementation and review.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits.
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including business case development, requirements gathering, planning, governance, testing, training, implementation, and post-project evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering groups, and project meetings.
  • Collaborate effectively with third-party suppliers and service providers.
  • Ensure all projects operate within established governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Essential Experience
  • Extensive experience in a Change Manager, Project Manager, or similar transformation-focused role within financial services.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing change management frameworks, methodologies, and processes.
  • Strong project management expertise across the full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience leading workshops, governance meetings, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of basic vetting checks.
Desirable
  • Professional Change Management or Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, APM, Agile, Prosci).
