Within the construction environment you will assist in buying materials, managing projects, ensuring health & safety and customer service across about 400 developments throughout the UK. You will work on a range of sites, from brownfield starts to the adaptation of existing buildings.

• Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager and in line with BDW Standards and procedures
• Inspect all on‑site signage and ensure it is clean and in good repair
• Take personal responsibility for health and safety on site and report any breaches to the Site Manager
• Ensure protection of fixed material is carried out by the subcontractor in line with BDW procedures and is maintained to the last possible moment
• Maintain compound and welfare facilities and keep all plots under construction tidy
• Walk round all plots daily and ensure no surplus materials remain on site
• Segregate and recycle all waste in accordance with BDW group guidelines
• Check show‑home gardens and public open spaces weekly and remove any rubbish that has blown onto these areas

• Enthusiastic self‑starter who can work unsupervised and use initiative
• Experience working on large volume domestic house‑building sites
• Understanding of health and safety
• Current appropriate CSCS or partner scheme card
