Contracts Manager – House builder

Location:

East of Scotland
Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 + Car Package
An established and respected construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen their senior operational team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in housing projects
, particularly within the residential or social housing sectors.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects across the East of Scotland
, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Oversee and manage multiple housing projects simultaneously
• Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers and Site Managers
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and programmes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Identify and manage risks, resolving issues proactively
• Contribute to continuous improvement across operational delivery

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within housing construction
• Strong knowledge of residential build processes and contractual frameworks
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Commercially astute with strong cost control experience
• Able to manage multiple live projects effectively
• Full UK driving licence

• Competitive salary £65k – £80k, depending on experience
