Façade Manager – Temp/Perm – Edinburgh – Start ASAP

We are currently working on a façade package for a large accommodation scheme in Edinburgh. The project includes aluminium panelling, brickwork, large stone restoration, pitched slate roofs and a Kalzip roofing system. The scheme comprises six low‑to‑mid‑rise blocks, over 600 bedrooms, with fifteen months remaining. The structural frame is complete on three blocks and steel works are ongoing on the remaining three, two blocks are currently at first‑fix partition stage and the remaining blocks will move into first‑fix from June.

• Lead and coordinate all façade and envelope activities across the site.
• Engage in on‑site conversations with subcontractors and be the point of escalation for technical and schedule issues.
• Take ownership of an individual block and ensure its work is completed to contractual specification and schedule.
• Actively resolve issues that arise during construction, recognising that “I’ll sort it” often triggers a chain of additional problems.
• Communicate progress and decisions clearly to the main contractor, project manager and site team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

• Experience on residential, hotel or student accommodation projects.
• Strong track record in façade, envelope or external works, with a clear CV history and minimal turnover.
• Ability to commute easily to Edinburgh.
• Proven ability to manage a block from start to finish and deliver on time.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
