About Our ClientOur client specialises in the construction and refurbishment of pitches, play areas, and multi‑use games areas (MUGAs) across the UK. They pride themselves on delivering high‑quality projects that enhance both professional and grassroots sports environments.
About the RoleAs a Site Supervisor, you will oversee construction sites, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. You will manage the process, operate machinery, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. This role requires extensive travel across the UK and flexibility during peak summer months.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee construction sites for building or resurfacing pitches.
- Manage the process and ensure project timelines are met.
- Operate machinery and handle machine tickets.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and supervision to site operatives and subcontractors.
Essential –
- Proven experience in groundwork construction.
- SSSTS certification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel and work long hours during peak periods.
- Ability to get hands dirty and manage from the ground up.
Desirable –
- SMSTS certification.
- Experience with sports pitch construction.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Work on exciting and impactful projects across the UK.
