Project Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of capital and repair works across a national office estate.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate based from home and one of our client’s regional offices across the UK.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a range of construction, capital works, repair, and maintenance‑related projects across an existing building portfolio. This role will involve working closely with external consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, including facilities teams, architects, surveyors, and technical specialists.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction‑focused Project Manager with experience across public estates, existing buildings, building maintenance, and repair programmes.

• Manage capital works, repair, and maintenance projects across a national office estate
• Ensure projects are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in line with agreed objectives
• Work with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to support successful project delivery
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across property, facilities, technical, and specialist teams
• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of building‑related projects across multiple locations
• Apply strong construction project management practices across a varied estate portfolio
• Review and interpret project information, technical requirements, and stakeholder needs
• Support procurement activity in line with public sector procurement processes and relevant industry frameworks
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support practical solutions to delivery challenges
• Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely

• Experience in construction project management, ideally across public estates or portfolios of existing buildings
• A qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or another relevant construction‑related discipline
• A strong understanding of building methods, materials, defects, maintenance, and repair approaches
• Experience working with buildings of different types, ages, and conditions
• Understanding of public sector procurement processes, including relevant procurement legislation
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as the RIBA Plan of Work 2020
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to analyse information and present conclusions clearly
• The ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary internal teams
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a varied project portfolio

• Salary of £39,590 pro rata
