As a
** Site Manager (Overhead Lines)**, you’ll join a multi-disciplined team responsible for the construction of new build, replacement, refurbishment and major overhead line projects. You’ll be working as part of a team committed to delivering high-profile construction projects safely and efficiently.

Acting as the primary on-site representative, you’ll take ownership of site activities and provide technical support and guidance throughout the overhead line construction phase.
*** What you’ll be doing
**** Monitor and manage contractor programmes in line with overall project delivery timelines
* Oversee the construction and commissioning of overhead line projects
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM regulations, and environmental standards
* Drive quality and environmental performance, ensuring mitigation measures are implemented and monitored
* Support the delivery of works across distribution and transmission networks

We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds within overhead lines and utilities. You might already be a Site Manager, or be looking to step up from a hands-on or supervisory role.
** We’d be keen to hear from you if you have:
*** Experience working on overhead line or transmission projects, ideally within utilities or infrastructure
* Exposure to projects across distribution and/or transmission networks (11kV – 400kV)
* Experience on higher voltage works (132kV, 275kV or 400kV) would be advantageous, but not essential
* A good understanding of overhead line construction, maintenance or commissioning activities (e.g. foundations, pole/tower erection, stringing or reconductoring)
* Experience working within a DNO, utilities, or infrastructure environment
* Knowledge of CDM regulations, site safety and temporary works
* Experience reviewing, approving or working with RAMS and permit systems
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors and site team
** Qualifications / certifications (or working towards):
*** SMSTS* CSCS Card
* First Aid

**** Experienced transmission & distribution linesmen/women looking to transition into site management.
* Candidates with strong practical overhead line experience and a solid understanding of industry delivery.
