Job OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing cost management consultancy with offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of work, the business is looking to strengthen its team with an ambitious Quantity Surveyor capable of independently managing projects across a diverse portfolio. The consultancy delivers cost management services across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, residential, public sector and community developments, with projects ranging from smaller schemes through to major developments exceeding £100 million.

- Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying / PQS consultancy environment
- Experience independently managing projects from pre-contract through to final account
- Strong knowledge of cost planning, procurement, tendering and contract administration
- Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills
- MRICS qualified desirable, although candidates working towards APC are strongly encouraged to apply
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent organisational and reporting skills

- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000+ (DOE & MRICS Status)
- Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day home working following onboarding)
- Full RICS APC and membership sponsorship
- Support from two in-house APC Assessors
- Edinburgh city centre parking permit (circa £1,000 value) or mileage allowance (approximately 50-55p per mile)

- Deliver full pre and post-contract quantity surveying services across a varied project portfolio
- Prepare cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender documentation and tender evaluations
- Produce monthly valuations, cost reports and financial progress updates
- Independently manage multiple projects from inception through to final account
- Attend regular site visits, progress meetings and client meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and project teams
- Work closely with senior management to ensure successful project delivery
- Support junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the business
