Site Manager

CNX Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and highly respected construction contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment works in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long‑term project with a secure pipeline of work through to the end of 2026, managing the delivery of a high‑quality development from the construction phase through to completion.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

• Managing site operations and subcontractors
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance at all times
• Coordinating daily activities to maintain programme milestones
• Monitoring quality and ensuring all works meet specification
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and inspections
• Liaising with the project team, consultants and subcontractors
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
• Managing site logistics and resolving day‑to‑day operational issues

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on major construction projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial developments would be highly advantageous
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme
• Strong focus on health & safety and quality delivery
