The Role
PSS Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a client for 4 experienced CIS Labourers to support civils work in Edinburgh Old Town.
The project involves road surface removal, excavation and associated reinstatement works, including work around traditional stone setts (cobbles).
The successful candidates will assist the site team with general labouring duties, helping ensure the project runs safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with general site preparation and construction activities.
* Support site operatives with roadworks, excavation and reinstatement tasks.
* Move materials and assist with deliveries as required.
* Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe.
* Follow site management instructions and health and safety procedures.
* Wear the required PPE and maintain safe working practices.
* Work effectively as part of the wider site team.
Essential Requirements
* Valid CSCS card.
* Previous construction site labouring experience preferred.
* Good awareness of health and safety on construction sites.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Must be eligible to work on a CIS basis.
Working Arrangements & Pay
* Positions available: 4 Labourers.
* Location:
Edinburgh Old Town.
* Hours:
9:00am–5:00pm.
* Rate: £14.50 per hour.
* Duration: 3 weeks.
* Start date:
ASAP
* Engagement: CIS basis.
