Salary: 34,330 GBP

We are looking for an experienced Digital Communications Officer to support the promotion of the work of Creative Scotland and those we fund. You will join an energetic and dedicated team who are passionate about delivering engaging content across our websites, social media channels and newsletters that is effective and audience‑focused.

• Manage digital channels and create digital content for Creative Scotland, raising its profile and advocating for the value and impact of the culture sector in Scotland, including video production and extensive social media curation.
• Actively monitor channels for comments and DMs, providing timely and informative responses.
• Support wider communications work, ensuring that key news developments and announcements are communicated effectively online and that all content is accurate, up‑to‑date and compliant.

• Experience in a digital communications environment, including web content management systems.
• Experience with design/video software and social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Project management skills and ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team working; ability to develop and establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Commitment to our core values.
• An understanding of the culture sector would be advantageous.

The contractual base for this post is Edinburgh; flexible and smarter working, including homeworking, is offered.
