Location: City of Edinburgh

Join a dynamic antiques and vintage business dedicated to sourcing and restoring unique furniture and decorative pieces. This role is ideal for a creative professional passionate about storytelling and building an authentic online presence. You will play a key part in shaping the brand’s voice and visual identity, ensuring the approachable and characterful spirit of the shop is reflected across all social channels.

The focus is on engaging content that highlights the story, restoration process, and distinctive charm of each item, resonating with a community of vintage enthusiasts.

Deliverables
  • Develop a comprehensive content plan prior to the shop’s opening, outlining themes, posting schedules, and key messaging.
  • Create and schedule regular social media posts using provided photos and updates, transforming them into engaging stories and features.
  • Highlight the restoration process, sourcing journeys, and the unique history behind select pieces.
  • Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and encouraging user interaction.
  • Monitor analytics to assess content performance and adjust strategies for optimal reach and engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing social media for retail, lifestyle, or creative brands, ideally with a focus on vintage or interiors.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft friendly, authentic, and engaging posts.
  • Proficiency in content planning, scheduling tools, and basic photo editing.
  • Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving brand needs.
  • Based in the UK or able to work within UK time zones preferred.
  • Passion for antiques, restoration, and storytelling is highly valued.
