Position: Senior Animator based 12 month Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Animator, you will create high-quality animation using performance capture data for characters, creatures, and cinematic scenes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced developers on a AAA project.

Requirements

Experience working as a Senior Animator on at least one published AAA console title.
Extensive experience with Motion Builder and Maya.
Proven experience with mocap clean up tools.
Understanding of human anatomy, body/creature mechanics, and all animation principles.
Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5.

Responsibilities

Clean, process, and retarget captured data to digital character rigs.
Collaborate with directors, animators, and tech artists to refine performance quality.
Integrate animations into the engines.
Troubleshoot mocap rigs, markers etc.
Ensure animation quality meets artistic and technical standards across all assets.

Work with the wider art, design and code teams to champion best technical practices.
As part of reviews, provide constructive critique and solutions.
Ability to self-motivate as well as motivate other members of the team.
