Location: City of Edinburgh

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Resourcing Graphic Designer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £250-£300/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with 2 days per week in the Edinburgh office.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective graphic content for use across multiple formats including print materials, social media, and digital channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects including all stages of the creative production lifecycle, from concept creation to artwork production, testing and distribution.
  • Own the resourcing social media accounts - planning, designing, scheduling and monitoring posts (X and Facebook)
  • Engage with Campaign Leads and Resourcing colleagues to create effective briefs for design and content production to support recruitment activity.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on graphic design and content creation approaches and recruitment channels.
  • Engage with heads of brand within the Communications Division to implement the organisations brand guidelines, design principles and best practice standards in all outputs, ensuring high-quality and accessible content.
  • Lead on creative projects including researching new and emerging creative approaches and tools, managing photo-shoots and procuring creative services.
  • Archive design assets to maximise the potential for future re-use.
  • Proven experience in graphic design and content production with a strong track record of developing and delivering designs based on evidence of user needs and organisational outcomes.
  • Expert understanding of Industry standard tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and After Effects)
  • Experience of designing for digital formats including social media and the web with a detailed understanding of accessibility criteria and best practice standards.
  • Professional expertise and judgement to advise on the appropriate use of graphic outputs and formats, along with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
