The Edinburgh Sewcial Club is seeking a friendly, organised, and motivated freelance dressmaking, sewing and textile tutor - weekday, evenings and weekends.

The Edinburgh Sewcial Club is a small business based in Edinburgh hosting creative workshops for all ages, levels of experience and abilities in evening & weekend workshops and courses.

Class sizes are between 6 - 8 people in a range of ages - both adults and children’s workshops teaching dressmaking, sewing and other textile crafts to high level.

• Ability to teach sewing to beginner & advanced students
• In-depth knowledge of machine sewing
• Pattern Cutting
• Dressmaking & ability to interpret a range of patterns

• Embroidery
• Knitting
• Crotchet

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer focused with a confident knowledge and passion of textiles and dressmaking.

Ability to work alone, self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy and with excellent communication skills.

£17 per hour - 3 to 18 hours per week
