Role: Customer Service Advisor (Face-to-Face)
Location: Edinburgh - South West Locality Office
Hours: Monday to Friday - 36 hours per week
Pay Rate: £14.51 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary ongoing

About the Role

As a Face-to-Face Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for residents visiting the office-supporting them with enquiries, appointments, and essential services. If you enjoy working with people and making a real difference day-to-day, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional first impression

• Supporting visitors with enquiries and guiding them to the right services

• Managing appointments, including check-ins and issuing tickets

• Taking payments and processing service requests accurately

• Updating customer information on internal systems

• Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery

• Handling enquiries with care, efficiency, and a strong customer focus

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A calm, patient and empathetic approach

• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

• Confidence using IT systems and handling customer information accurately
