Overview

Customer Service Representative – Edinburgh, Standard Life House, Edinburgh (EH1 2DH
). Salary: £24,479 per year. You will join a people and technology‑driven business, supporting customers via front‑line telephony. You will handle enquiries about life assurance, savings, investments, pension plans, and manage policy processing and updates to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities

You will provide seamless service during important moments for customers, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of queries and maintaining policy details.

Qualifications & Attributes
  • Passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience with empathy and respect, and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent listening, strong verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify complex matters.
  • Great problem‑solving, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable using multiple IT applications, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Excited to work with a diverse community and be part of a supportive workplace culture.
