Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh team as a Customer Service Advisor on a permanent basis.
This role assists with the day-to-day administration for the Digital Channels Customer Service Team and provide support to senior colleagues and team leader, dealing with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the team, support and enhance the end customers experience.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?- Handle incoming calls and mail from new and existing customers and resolving queries.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers.
- Input and maintain client data with accuracy onto our systems.
- Handle all aspects of a customer’s journey from account opening to closure or transfer of account.
- Monitor and track internal customer transfers between services.
- Monitor transfers of assets/cash from other institutions.
- ISA subscriptions and transfers.
- Process cash transactions on behalf of customers.
- Prepare and process all new client documentation and amendments.
- General record keeping and electronic filing.
- Set up and maintain online access for all Brewin Dolphin digital portals.
- Assist and resolve customers queries with online access.
- Customer service experience within financial services.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams) as well as the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
- Willingness to work to obtain qualifications relevant to the role.
