Architect – Edinburgh

Fletcher Joseph is seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our team.

We are looking for a highly motivated Architect with strong technical and delivery experience. The successful candidate will be confident working as part of a team to produce coordinated technical packages, manage planning and building warrant submissions, and support the smooth delivery of projects through later design stages. You will gain exposure to project leadership responsibilities and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the UK as your role develops.

With strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset, you will enjoy developing design ideas into well‑considered, buildable solutions. You will work within a supportive team environment on multi‑residential, commercial and hospitality projects, be self‑motivated, and collaborate to meet deadlines efficiently.

• Strong technical expertise producing information through RIBA Stages 3–5
• Experience working with internal and external design teams through detailed design and construction
• Ability to integrate technical and compliance information while respecting the integrity of concept designs
• Strong graphic presentation and verbal communication skills
• A positive team player who contributes to a supportive team culture
• Experience in PBSA, multi‑residential or hospitality sectors (advantageous)
• Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Sound knowledge of current Building Regulations
• Experience on refurbishment or conservation projects is beneficial
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
