Senior MEP BIM Technician

Based in Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh, United Kingdom. This role offers hybrid working and supports work across public and private sectors, including defence, commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, education, and leisure.

• Setting up new Revit and CAD projects using company templates.
• Producing and amending models and drawings based on engineer mark‑ups.
• Creating schematics and linking them to model data.
• Ensuring files are stored in accordance with the company QA procedures.
• Performing model exports, including IFC, NWC, DWFX, DWG and PDF exports.
• Adding classification data to models.
• Using built‑in interference checking tools and other software solutions to QA check models.
• Liaising with the BIM Manager to maintain industry and company‑specific standards.
• Ensuring MEP models comply with project BIM requirements.

• Experience acting as Task Team Information Manager on BIM projects.
• Extensive working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of MagiCAD considered beneficial.
• Experience working as part of an MEP design team, with good knowledge of building services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident liaison with design engineers.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Willingness to attain SC level security clearance for MOD and scientific sector projects.
