Job Overview
A Mid-to-Senior Interior Designer is required to join a strategy-led design practice in Edinburgh, working across retail and commercial projects. The role covers concept development, visualisation, technical design and delivery. It suits a confident designer with strong UK commercial experience, excellent presentation skills and the ability to contribute quickly across all project stages.
Role & Responsibilities- Deliver projects from concept through detailed design and completion
- Produce coordinated working drawings, specifications and design information
- Create mood boards, visualisations and client presentations
- Attend client meetings, site visits and occasional project travel
- Report progress clearly to the Design Director
- Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree
- At least 4 years of UK commercial experience
- Strong retail or commercial interiors portfolio
- Vectorworks experience
- Proficiency in Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign and Enscape
You should understand commercial strategy, customer flow and how design decisions support project objectives. Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills are essential.
