Scottish Brain Sciences is a Life Sciences Company headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland. We conduct observational research and deliver clinical trials of new treatments for a range of neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer's disease, and we foster the rapid translation of research into practice (bench to bedside occhi.).

As our new Clinical Research Physician
, based in Edinburgh, you will be responsible for activities on clinical research studies, particularly in early detection and the treatment of brain conditions. You will work under close supervision from Dr. Meher Lad, Consultant Neurologist & Medical Director, and Prof. Craig Ritchie, Professor of Brain Health and Neurodegenerative Disease (St. Andrews University) & CEO of Scottish Brain Sciences.

• Performing medical procedures
• Collaborating with other research staff
• Developing further research skills

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK (please provide PIN with your application)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in neuroscience or a related field is a plus

Job Type: Fixed Term – initially 8 months. There may be the opportunity to extend this period.

Hours per week: Full time (35 hours)

Pay: £45,500 – £55,000 per year (depending on experience)

Location: Edinburgh with occasional travel to Aberdeen
