Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) post based in 1 Cambridge Street House, 5 Cambridge Street, Edinburgh, EH1 2DY

There are 3 full time posts in Community Psychiatry in Edinburgh.

The consultant would be joining another fulltime consultant, a full time consultant with management responsibilities and a part time specialty doctor in the South West Community Team.

The other 2 posts are in the South East Community Team where there are 2 vacancies currently filled by internal backfill and a locum. They would be joining a 7 session specialty doctor.

The work includes regular outpatient clinics, liaising with sector GPs, Mental Health Act work including community Compulsory Treatment Orders and providing consultant input to the Community Mental Health Team.

We are currently developing a city wide service for Neurodevelopmental Conditions including an MDT approach. If a candidate is particularly interested in working in this area then the post could be adjusted to suit.
