Overview
Join as the Ecosystem Engagement Lead at the University of Edinburgh. In this full‑time position you will lead and manage interactions with key stakeholders within the Fin Tech Scotland Cluster, including fintechs, strategic partners, other cluster management organisations, and public sector bodies that engage with fintechs in Scotland, the UK or overseas. Your role will enable mutually beneficial collaboration across the sector.
The salary for this post is £70,000 to £79,500 per annum.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage relationships with stakeholders across the Fin Tech Scotland Cluster.
- Facilitate collaboration among industry, academia, regulators, and the public sector.
- Collect and analyse ecosystem intelligence to inform engagement strategies.
- Represent Fin Tech Scotland confidently in industry and public forums.
- Maintain and develop stakeholder engagement and partnership governance.
- Minimum five years’ professional experience within fintech, financial services, technology, or innovation sectors.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, ecosystem development, or partnership management.
- Strong understanding of the fintech landscape, financial innovation, and cluster development principles.
- Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Data and insight‑driven with ability to segment communities and use data to improve engagement.
Full‑time, with support for part‑time hours and flexible working patterns. Hybrid working is on a non‑contractual basis, offering a blend of home and on‑site options.
