Morningside School of Music are currently looking for music teachers to work as part of their team.

Morningside School of Music is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Instrumental Music Teachers to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality music education to children and adults of all ages and skill levels in a nurturing and engaging environment. Responsibilities:

- Provide one-on-one and group music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, focusing on instrumental techniques, music theory, and performance skills

- Develop personalized lesson plans that cater to each student's individual needs, goals, and learning styles

- Monitor and evaluate students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve and achieve their goals

- Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and a love for music

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop and participate in recitals, workshops, and other music-related events

- Maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a well-rounded and successful learning experience

Requirements:

- A degree in Music or Music Education and a minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience (preferably in an educational setting)

- Proficiency in one or more instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, drums, voice, etc.)

- Strong knowledge of music theory, technique, and repertoire across various genres

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

- A friendly, patient, and approachable demeanour, with a genuine passion for teaching and helping students grow

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
