Textiles Teacher – Secondary School (January Start)

Pay: £160 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)

We are working with a secondary school in Dunstable looking for an experienced Textiles Teacher to join their Design and Technology team from January. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a creative practitioner who can inspire students and deliver practical, engaging lessons across KS3–KS4.
Role Overview- Teach Textiles across KS3–KS4 in line with curriculum expectations
- Deliver practical lessons that build confidence, creativity, and technical skills
- Track and assess progress, providing targeted feedback and support
- Maintain a safe and well‑organised classroom environment
- Contribute to wider departmental planning and activities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or equivalent qualification
- Experience teaching Textiles at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Creative, adaptable, and committed to student progress
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
