About the RoleWe are looking for a SEND Support Worker to provide exceptional student support across all curriculum areas and college sites. You will be working with our most vulnerable SEND students to support their learning, achievement and progression into adulthood both in and out of the classroom environment. You will develop supportive relationships with students while remaining professional and deliver strategies to promote and reinforce student self‑esteem.
You will provide physical and personal care support.

- Work under the direction of the class tutor and use your own initiative.
- Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Maths at grade A‑C).
- Level 2 qualification relevant to the post.
- Understanding of EHCPs and SEND.
- Excellent communication and digital skills.
- Knowledge and experience of different learning needs and strategies to support independence.
- Ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide accurate spoken English.
- Previous experience of working with young people in an educational capacity.
