SEN Teaching Assistant

Cheadle (SK8) Pay: 475- 550 per week, depending on experience

We are currently working with a large provision in the Cheadle area to recruit for experienced SEN teaching assistants. The SEN teaching assistant role is full‑time, temp to perm, and will start after the February half term.

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, building strong rapport
• Maintaining regular communication with SLT and other staff members to monitor development
• Being involved in the creation and implementation of Education, Health Care plans (EHCPs)

• Previous experience supporting SEN, in a school or care setting
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• A calm, nurturing nature

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
