Role SummaryReddam House Berkshire is a flagship UK school of the successful Reddam House International group. Set in 125 acres of wood and parkland, housed in a magnificent mansion building. Throughout the school our emphasis is on independence; we expect our students to work hard in the belief that success is in his or her own hands. From babies in our Early Learning School through to our Sixth Formers moving on to University, students are active participants in setting the direction of their educational journey, developing a love of learning and being empowered with the self‑discipline that provides the bedrock for success.
We have 800+ students between the ages of 3 months and 18 years registered here (day students and boarders from age 11+). Children are recognised as individuals with unique skills to celebrate and given tailored support and guidance at each stage of their school career. Our structure of Early Learning School, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School means that every year group works with professionals who specialise and enjoy working with the students in their care.
We are seeking to appoint committed and dynamic Early Years Practitioners who will be working with children aged 3 months to 4 years providing care, play activities and supporting the EYFS assessment. Our Early Learning School operates 52 weeks a year and we can offer employment for the 52 weeks or 38 weeks with either a 5 day (8am to 5pm) or 4 day (8am to 6pm) work pattern.
The purpose of this role is to deliver educational programmes to children to support their development and learning through a) effective planning that identifies the intent of these programmes and b) successful implementation strategies that demonstrate excellent quality teaching. To design and deliver a range of learning opportunities that can have impact on children's progress and shape their dispositions and attitudes towards learning.

Key Responsibilities- To be a highly motivated early years practitioner role modelling excellent practice to children as identified in the Early Years Inspection Handbook.
- To stay abreast of current Early Years initiatives and legislation and ensure that this informs your practice.
- To have consistently high expectations of what children can achieve and support their learning.
- To have a secure understanding of child development of the age group they are working with and have relevant subject knowledge that is detailed and communicated to the children.
- To gather assessment information looking at what children already know, understand, and can do and share this with parents or other professionals.
