GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work on an ad-hoc basis in schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work while making a positive impact in primary classrooms.

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range, ensuring pupils remain motivated and supported in their learning. You will adapt quickly to different classroom environments and maintain high standards of behaviour and teaching.

• Deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
• Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided
• Support pupils’ academic and personal development
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
• Ability to adapt confidently to different school environments
