Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to advance the School Improvement Plan.
  • Facilitate improvements in attainment, achievement, attendance, and equality/ equity.
  • Be a key part of the school's Self‑Evaluation and Quality Assurance work.
  • Oversee First Level teaching and support.
  • Lead the school’s digital strategy.
  • Provide class contact time equivalent to 0.56 per week.
School Overview

Juniper Green Primary School is a non‑denominational primary school in the South‑West of Edinburgh. It has a roll of 382 children from Primary 1 to Primary 7 and an additional 64 children in the nursery.

Legal and Professional Requirements

Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Candidates must join the PVG Scheme or have it updated, and if a continuous period of 3 months or more was spent outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required and must be provided. A conditional offer will be contingent on satisfactory outcomes of these checks.

Regulatory Salary
