Job Description
We are looking to provide high-quality one-to-one support for pupils on our Learning Support register. In conversation with parents and teachers, SENDCos will recommend a referral for a pupil to attend one-to-one support sessions for a period of time (from half a term upwards); these sessions will operate in School, during the School day. As such we are looking to appoint a skilled practitioner who will be able to make a difference to the educational progress of the students they are working with.
This role is a zero hours contract based upon demand by pupils/parents, with flexibility on working patterns across the week.
- Able to deliver specialist and targeted support for sustained intervention for pupils aged 13-18 years on a one-to-one basis using creative, highly visual and interactive teaching styles to support pupils' learning.
- Provide regular feedback to the SENDCo.
- Carry out, where required, online meetings with parents to update them on progress.
- Write reports relating to pupils' progress according to an agreed schedule.
- Manage timetable and rotate pupils' lessons.
